Psychotropic Drugs May Help the Overwhelmed Prisoner

Myths and dim value judgments all too commonly keep today’s prisoners from receiving the psychotropic drugs they need. All too frequently, inmate complaints or requests for sedatives are dismissed as “drug-seeking.” So what if they are? If it is a psychotropic that would help, why not give the treatment?
